Sandy Lawrence Edry is a Vice President at Citi-Habitats where he leads The Edry Group. Sandy is a lifelong New Yorker who has taken the typical Manhattanite’s fascination with real estate and turned it into one of the top sales and rental teams in the city.

In just the last two years, Sandy has sold more than $50 million dollars in Manhattan real estate, including nearly 75 apartments in the Riverside Drive Condominiums and The Bennett 212 Condominiums.

Sandy’s knowledge of the market and devotion to his clients led to his being named a Top Sales Agent at Citi Habitats in 2009 as well as a three-time Platinum Award winner in 2007-2009.

Before joining Citi Habitats, Sandy spent more than 15 years as a professional journalist, including seven years on staff as a writer/editor at Newsweek Magazine. Edry is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and has been published in various newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, New York, Inc., The Los Angeles Times and many others.

Sandy is combining his love of real estate and journalism in his latest venture: a community/lifestyle web site called GoNorthNYC.com. The site, launching November 1st, celebrates life in Northern Manhattan and will hopefully encourage more people to visit and move to the neighborhoods of Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Hudson Heights and Inwood.

Sandy has lived in the northern Manhattan neighborhood of Hudson Heights for more than a decade.
