Lucky Strikers Strike Gold with Two Real Deal mentions

High-Flying Investment? A birds-eye model of the Audubon Park Historic District in No. Manhattan

Now, after two years of sitting on the sidelines, would-be investors are showing a renewed interest in Manhattan condos, the Real Deal maintains in its March issue, which was published today.

Industry experts attribute their reentry to several factors, says the magazine: Prices have stabilized while rents are ticking up, mortgages are easier to obtain, and interest rates are low.  Quoted was Lucky Striker Ryan Hinricher:

“Investors are more confident that the housing market is reaching a bottom,” noted Ryan Hinricher, founder of Investor Nation, an investment property fund and sales company. “They are willing to take risks they weren’t one to two years ago.”

The package of three articles is well worth your attention.

In another worthy piece on which neighborhoods offer value to buyers, Sandy Edry also was mentioned in the account as follows:

“I tell my clients that Northern Manhattan is one of the best and last places to get a really great investment property,” said Citi Habitats Vice President Sandy Edry…. That’s particularly true because of Columbia University’s planned 17-acre extension nearby. When it comes to long-term appreciation, “the Columbia factor is huge.”

He’s right!
